Feeding America

Feeding America is the nation’s leading hunger-relief organization. As a Partner State Association, we serve as statewide representative of all Feeding America foodbanks in Ohio, coordinate initiatives and activities between our foodbanks and Feeding America, and work cooperatively with Feeding America in public policy advocacy.

The Columbus Foundation

The Columbus Foundation selected the OBB to receive their first Continuous Improvement Grant in 2006. Their support continues to be critical to the expansion of the OBB in central Ohio communities and beyond.

The Walmart Foundation

The Walmart Foundation provides vital support in the fight against hunger in Ohio to many of Ohio’s foodbanks.

Corporation for National & Community Service (CNCS)

The Corporation for National and Community Service provides support and funding for ShareCorps, our AmeriCorps VISTA program. Our partnership with CNCS and the CNCS State Office continues to make an enormous impact on our ability to address hunger and poverty in Ohio.

Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS)

ODJFS is a long-time partner in both our food programs and the OBB. We work closely with them to promote innovation and accessibility in Ohio’s social service sector. ODJFS manages our grants with the State of Ohio for OBB and OFPACP.

The George Gund Foundation

The George Gund Foundation generously supports our efforts to advocate for people in need throughout Ohio.

Share Our Strength

Share Our Strength selected us as their No Kid Hungry Ally in Ohio. Through their support and partnership, we continue to work toward the end of childhood hunger in our state.

MAZON: A Jewish Response to Hunger

MAZON: A Jewish Response to Hunger generously supports our efforts to end hunger in our state through a combination of effective programs, healthy foods, and advocacy.

Ohio Association of School Business Officials

OASBO members, chapters, sponsors, and partners not only personally give each year to support our efforts to fight childhood hunger, but also work with us to advocate for improved child nutrition programs in Ohio.

Voices for National Service

We partner with Voices for National Service to educate our elected officials about the value of national service and to ensure that these programs receive full funding from Congress.  All advocacy is done with private funds and no Corporation for National Service funds are ever used for this purpose.

Ohio Grocers Association

The Ohio Grocers Association has generously supported our efforts to provide fresh, nutritious, high-quality produce to the people we serve through both financial contributions and industry partnership.

The Wendy's Company

The Wendy’s Company selected us as a recipient of their Community Appreciation Grant. Their generous support helped us to host the second annual Summer Food Service Program Summit in Ohio.

Ohio Lottery Commission

The Ohio Lottery Commission is partnering with us to collect non-perishable food items and donations for Ohio’s foodbanks at their Cash Explosion shows.

Comfort Keepers

Comfort Keepers generously provided support for the second statewide Senior Hunger Summit as part of their mission to help seniors enjoy high quality of life in their own homes.

AARP Ohio

AARP Ohio works to raise awareness of the prevalence and consequences of hunger among older adults in Ohio. They support hunger relief efforts through volunteer food drives, SNAP outreach efforts, and much more.

Ohio Pork Producers Council (OPPC)

In August 2009, OPPC launched the Pork Power Program through which farmers donate hogs and sows to Ohio's foodbanks to be processed into pork.

Ohio Poultry Association (OPA)

Each spring the OPA provides a generous donation of eggs to Ohio's foodbanks.

Cooper Farms

Cooper Farms has continually supported the Ohio Food Program by providing turkey sausage at a substantial savings for the foodbanks.

 

North American Power

Through their Mission to Millionis program, retail energy supplier North American Power puts the power of giving into the hands of their customers. Customers can select a charity from a featured list of partners, including the Ohio Association of Foodbanks, and North American Power will donate $1 on their behalf every month.

The Center for Food Integrity

We are a member of the Center for Food Integrity as part of our role as Ohio's largest charitable response to hunger.

Two Rivers Logowear

For the second year in a row, Two Rivers Logowear has chosen us as their “Charity of Choice,” providing us with a significant discount on all apparel and promotional products.

New York City Coalition Against Hunger (NYCCAH)

NYCCAH partners with us on policy strategies and advocacy as well as joint in-service trainings for our national service programs, two of the largest and most impactful national service programs fighting hunger in the nation.

Missouri Association for Community Action, Inc. (MACA)

MACA developed the Community Action Poverty Simulation. We are licensed to facilitate the simulations and to train others to facilitate them.
